About Us
About Us
Wonderfully Made Sewing School is located in Fort Worth, Texas. We believe that every child is "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" and created by a God who loves them and found joy in his creation. (Psalm 139:14) In that spirit, we want to show children the joy of creating things with their own hands. Learning how to sew teaches confidence, responsibility, skill, and creativity. Plus, there is nothing like the pride that comes in completing your first sewing class and bringing home a project you made yourself!
Camps and Workshops
Each sewing camp and class is creatively themed and appropriate for beginners as well as improving the skills of a developing seamstress. I look forward to planning the themes and projects every year. As with many skills, with sewing, the more projects you do, and more time you spend developing your craft, the better you will become. We love providing a fun environment during our sewing lessons and camps where students can build their skills and confidence .
What to Expect
All supplies for sewing camp and workshops are provided including fabric, notions, tools, and a machine. Each camp will introduce students to how to properly use a machine, wind a bobbin, thread a sewing machine, and achieve a proper seam allowance. Students will also learn how to press their seams correctly. We pack a lot into a week of camp! They will leave camp that week feeling proud of their completed projects.
Students may also bring a snack or drink for break time.
